I am seeking a new position in Oxford City or the surrounding area. I am a marketing assistant for Cherwell College Oxford, updating their social media and website. I have experience using Photoshop to design marketing material and an understanding of all social media and digital content platforms. I use AdWords. Reason for leaving – Family commitments

Front of house, Services assistant. Dealing with visitor and staff enquiries via phone and e mail. Providing guidance and advice on the major exhibits at the museum, supporting visiting academic staff to access materials within the museum. Working with colleagues to ensure that the visitor experience at the museum is befitting of the reputation of the University of Oxford. Sorting, franking and delivering the mail. Key Achievements

. Made a system to reorganise the paper filing system for the admin office paperwork, which I implemented.

. In 2012 I made an app for a museum trail in the Pitt Rivers and was given permission to stick QR codes on the museum cases to make a trail for a steampunk night. This event, which was my idea, sold out within the first few days. I organised it with conjunction of the staff at the museum. I also staffed the event with volunteers, who I trained to give a trail which I created using museums objects that were where featured in my first sci fi book Paradox Child.

I am a strong believer in recycling and much art and craft projects are made using recycled materials. I use hand tools, power tools and a sewing machine. I like to keep fit and have completed many personal fitness challenges, such as cycling the whole of the UK, a half marathon and a half triathlon. I run a productive allotment and grow all my food organically.
I have written for a community paper for the last 10 years and have published 5 books and two audio books.
